F.J. Wing: First Drafts is where I am developing my essays about growing inside gay hookup culture over the last decades, navigating sex, desire, relationships, HIV, drugs, and an evolving Internet changing everything. I will be pulling from my memories, own archives, and other places where I have posted before.

I will be posting thoughts and snippets as I shape them into 4 finished collections, one for each city. Between those, updates and misc thoughts about the process and ongoing life in Berlin.

As I keep writing, older articles will become members-only, all tiers of membership, just to keep them protected.

Some content will be too explicit to host here permanently so I will be exploring sending those only as emails to paying members. Let's see how far we get. (Payment processors are so locking down on smut that literally only OFF/JFF have Terms of Service that allow even hosting of shit I used to post for free on LiveJournal.)

Other Work

Two manuscript novels are in second draft, as I start on the third. Still finding the path forward for those.
